Tiffany Hayes MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Tiffany is a graduate from Kent State University and a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about children, adolescents and young adults. Tiffany started working as a nurse paraprofessional with children with special needs at a public preschool in 2011 because she wanted to further understand and advocate for her then 2.5 year old twin son who experienced developmental and behavioral issues. That is where Tiffany found her passion for mental health nursing. She then continued to focus on identifying and managing mental health conditions while providing health care to individuals incarcerated in jails and detention centers. After obtaining her registered nursing degree she started working in the residential treatment program for behavioral health and autism services at Bellefaire Jewish Children’s Bureau. The opportunity arose for her to advance her career as clinical nurse manager with the agency.
Tiffany promotes mental health well-being through prevention and education to improve quality of life. She works with clients to improve personal development and effective coping skills. She is sensitive to the unique needs of clients with trauma. Her goal is that mentally healthy children and adolescents lead a positive holistic lifestyle at home, in school, and in their communities.
When not supporting her clients, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family, reading, journaling, meditating, practicing yoga, and spending time outdoors.
