Taneshia Campbell, M.Ed.

School Counselor

Taneshia A. Campbell received her Master of Science in School Counseling from Capella University, following her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The Ohio State University.

She is a first-generation college graduate and was afforded that opportunity from the academic scholarship she received as a sixth grader in Akron Public Schools from The Ohio State University Office of Diversity and Inclusion Young Scholars Program (YSP).

Taneshia spent nearly a decade in schools throughout Central and Northeast Ohio as a Teacher in Special Education, Intervention Specialist and Behavioral Observer. That tenure is what led Taneshia here.

Her passion for helping people resolve their personal and emotional challenges and wanting to support them along the way was the aspect that led Taneshia into therapy. Taneshia has been with Winston Counseling since her graduate school internship.

Once she received her master’s she was granted a permanent school-based position. Since then, she has become one of the Supervising Counselors and Therapist within a Charter School.

Her focus areas include individual therapy, group therapy, occupational, educational and career goals, student advocacy, staff support, occupational concerns, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem and motivation, empowerment, behavioral health, stress management, and anger management.
