
Rana Attia
Rana Attia is a passionate and driven advocate for marginalized communities. She is deeply committed to empowering individuals and fostering positive change. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Communication studies from Cleveland State University, where she honed her skills in supporting diverse populations. She also minored in Neuroscience. Currently, Rana is pursuing her Master’s in Social Work at Cleveland State University, focusing on providing culturally competent mental health services.
Rana’s dedication to serving others is rooted in her personal experiences as a Syrian Muslim and Arab woman, which have shaped her desire to stand up for those facing injustice. Her journey has been marked by a strong focus on addressing mental health disparities, particularly within Arab and Muslim communities, where she hopes to break down stigmas and provide meaningful support. Rana has a special passion for working with children from all backgrounds and strives to create safe spaces where they can thrive emotionally and mentally.
In her free time, Rana enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, exploring new places, engaging in community outreach, and spending time at the mosque. She is also passionate about fostering connections and creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued.
