Maureen Tuley, LPCC

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

Maureen is a licensed professional clinical counselor currently practicing in the community mental health field. Maureen obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University and her Bachelor’s in Child & Family Studies from Ohio University. Before counseling, Maureen worked as a home visitor working with families in the community providing resources and helpful skills that empower families.

Maureen has experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, LGBTQIA+ issues along with mood, adjustment and behavioral disorders. Maureen alters her approach to best serve the needs of her clients. She pulls techniques from multiple theoretical orientations including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Person-Centered, Family Systems and Mindfulness. Maureen believes in providing a safe and comfortable space to meet the client where they are and to promote strength.

When not in session, Maureen enjoys reading, cycling classes, spending time with friends & family, and cuddling with her two cats.
